ABOUT DOWNLOADING MUSIC
What are the steps I need to follow to download my music?
STEP 1: PLACE YOUR ORDER Continue with the ordering process in our store just as you would ordering a CD and proceed to Check-out.
STEP 2: CONFIRMATION OF YOUR ORDER Once you have ordered and paid for your music download, you will receive a Confirmation email almost instantly to indicate your order was received.
STEP 3: RECEIVE SPECIAL KEY FOR DOWNLOADING Within a few hours, you will receive a 2nd email from us giving you a special “key” to download your music file. Click on the URL link and proceed to the download page.
STEP 4: DOWNLOAD YOUR MUSIC FILE The key will take you to a Muscle Mixes Web Page which prompts you to download your music file. Click on the word “Download” and begin the download process.
How long do I have to download a song after I purchase it?
You must download a song within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, the song file will no longer be available for you to download.
Where does my download go once it is finished downloading?
Our downloadable music files are saved directly to your computer as compressed (zip) files. The music files must first be extracted, or unzipped, before importing them into your music program.
Windows Users:
Step 1: After clicking “Download” from the provided link, click “Save” or “Save to Disc” when prompted. Do not just click “open.”
Step 2: The file will then save automatically to the desktop unless otherwise specified.
Step 3: Right Click on the file (should look like a yellow folder with a zipper) and click “extract” or “extract all.” Click “Next” about 3 times and then click “Finish.” A new folder will appear on your desktop.
Step 4: Double click this new folder and you should be able to view the MP3 files. You are now ready to open these MP3 files into your music program of choice.
Mac users:
Step 1: Double click the folder and an uncompressed folder will appear on your desktop.
Step 2: Open this new folder to view the MP3 files. You are now ready to open these MP3 files into your music program of choice.
How do I import the music into iTunes?
Windows Users:
Step 1: You should now see a folder containing a list of the music tracks. Double click the folder that is titled as the album just downloaded. For example, if the album Final Cuts 5 was downloaded the title of the folder will be “Final Cuts Vol. 5 Elevate.” (For double CDs, there will be two folders, one folder for disc 1 and the other folder for disc 2.)
Step 2: Highlight all tracks and drag and drop them into your iTunes music library OR right click and click ‘Open With iTunes.” (*Note: Music tracks must be imported into the iTunes music library and then moved into a new playlist in order for the tracks to stay in the order listed on the CD.)
Step 3: Once a playlist is created, you may now burn to a CD or connect your iPod and transfer the music into it.
Mac Users:
Step 1: Open the folder to view its contents. (For double CDs, there will be two folders, one folder for disc 1 and the other folder for disc 2.)

How long does it take to download music?
To download an average album (40 to 60 MB) takes:
Broadband (T1, DSL, ISDN, cable modem): under 10 minutes
56 Kbps modem: About an hour.
Actual download time varies, depending on the length of the album, your system configuration, site traffic and network traffic.
What file format do Music Downloads come in?
Music Downloads are 128-bit MP3 files. The 128-bit MP3 files offer superior sound quality.
What happens if my computer's connection to the Internet is interrupted during a download?
You must download the entire album again. Just follow the instructions for downloading.
What should I do if I have trouble playing music?
Here are a few questions to ask if you are having trouble playing your music: Are you connected to the Internet? Do you have either iTUNES or Microsoft Windows Media Player installed on your computer? Does your computer satisfy the minimum system requirements? Review the system requirements. Does the album appear in the Library on Apple iTUNES or in the Media Library on Microsoft Windows Media Player ?

What are the system requirements for using Music Downloads at Muscle Mixes Music.com?
1. A Windows PC or and Apple computer Most computers manufactured in the last few years will easily meet the minimum system requirements. If you have an older computer, here's what you need: 233 MHz or higher processor (most computers meet this requirement) At least 64 MB of RAM A sound card Speakers or headphones (if you want to play music on your computer) An Internet connection
2. A recent version of Apple iTUNES or Microsoft Windows Media Player
What version of iPod + iTunes do I need?
Since there was no need initially, early versions of iTunes and iPods were not created to play Albums purchased with individual songs to play back “gapless”. iTunes 7 appears to make ALL tracks play gaplessly. If you don’t have the current version of iTunes, this is an easy fix since the upgrades are free to download the latest version. The problem may come with the iPod. iPods that support gapless play are all fifth-generation iPod models (with the latest iPod software update) and 2G iPod nanos. No other iPods play gaplessly.
Transfer Album I download to a CD:
You will need a recent version of Apple iTunes to transfer to an iPod or to burn a gapless CD. Make sure you have the preference set to gap-none, before burning your CD. You will be able to jump from track to track and the songs stay mixed together!! Basically your CD will be just like a store-bought CD. If you don’t have iTunes, visit Apple.com and download it for free!
******You cannot use Microsoft Windows Media Player, as albums will not play gapless on a CD.
